Bill McClintock is a well-respected figure in the United Kingdom property market, with over 40 years of experience in estate agency. He served as Managing Director of Royal Life Estates South, overseeing a chain of 250 offices, and was a member of the Main Board of Royal Life Estates from 1988 to 1992.

In 1992, he acquired a significant shareholding in Cornerstone Estate Agencies, which consisted of 347 offices and was purchased from Abbey National plc. After selling his stake in 1995, he joined Hamptons as International Development Director, where he was responsible for business development in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Driven by a passion for improving the property profession, Bill is a founding director and recently retired Chairman of The Guild of Property Professionals. This affinity group consists of approximately 760 agents across the UK who are dedicated to enhancing standards and marketing skills. The Guild also features an upmarket brand, Fine and Country, which comprises 230 UK branches and 75 international branches.

In 2003, he became the Chief Operating Officer of The Property Ombudsman for the UK, and in 2004, he was appointed Chairman, a position he held until December 2015.

Currently, Bill is developing 140 residential units, most with sea views, in Koh Samui, Thailand. Additionally, he serves as a Non-Executive Director of TrustStamp plc, a biometric company recently listed on Nasdaq.

New investors typically begin with an investment allocation of between £10,000 and £50,000, providing a comfortable and accessible entry point. With a maximum investment cap of £250,000 over 1/2 years, there is still flexibility to increase your investment as you start to receive returns in your chosen account. At the end of the investment term, you will receive back your original investment capital in full.

First, there is a simple Anti-Money Laundering (AML) documentation check, all of which is done by the Company and the bank.

Here’s the process 

You forward Richards Ascot Richards via email a copy of your photo ID and a recent / in the last 90 days, utility bill.

After the straightforward AML check, all of the legal documentation for the bond will be sent via email to you directly by us here at Richards Ascot Richards.

Once you have completed the onboarding process and secured your position, you will then be a client and a bondholder.

Bond Example:

BASED ON THE £20,000 YEARLY ISA ALLOWANCE.

This is what you will receive from your 1/2-year, security-trustee-protected, property bond with the same amount of money as a £20,000 ISA.

The yearly 8% return is fixed and secure for 1/2 year, so that’s  8% or 16% over the 2 years.

There is a total of 4 or 8  payments, each with the value of  £400, to be received every third month for the following 12 or 24 months until the end of the bond term.

That gives you a balance of £1,600 for a 1-year bond and £3,200 for a 2-year bond in interest to be received and your £20,000 capital back in full.
